He embarked on this trip after the negotiations between Lebanon and Israel ended in Italy.
J. Aoun will hold discussions “with several US officials about the situation in Lebanon and ways to strengthen the ceasefire,” especially in southern Lebanon, as well as about “Israel’s withdrawal from its occupied Lebanese territories,” the presidency said.
