The son of former Žalgiris player Kšištofas Lavrinovičius has signed a long-term contract, and in the upcoming season, the 205 cm tall young basketball player will play for the “Žalgiris-3” team, which will compete in the “Nostra.lt-RKL” A division.

“Of course, I feel that I also have some responsibility to continue the family dynasty. It is the greatest honor and very pleasant for me to be part of this organization. I try to help the team with my play, mostly under the basket, and just try to win games,” said D. Lavrinovičius.
Last season, D. Lavrinovičius represented the Vilnius basketball school in the Student Basketball League, where in the U17 age category he averaged 11.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 18.5 efficiency points.

The Kaunas “Žalgiris” youth system is also represented by Darjušas Lavrinovičius’s son Titas Lavrinovičius, who wears the “Žalgiris-2” team jersey.
