He stated that it is like a comedic character brightening up the elections.
„Although there are those who are indignant, I find it amusing when comedic characters who pretend to be politicians appear in elections. Satire and parody often reveal the bleakness of elections.
The British recently had fun with Count Rubbishface, we once had Oleg Shurayev’s character, and I believe Mantas Stonkus also created a candidate parody.
Now Kristupas Krivickas, who discovered a comedian’s talent within himself, does this skillfully. He managed to amusingly mock a failed populist politician – identical videos uploaded every hour, a disciplinarian tone, white shirts, a scowling face, absurd promises.
And when I saw the sunglasses being taken off again in every video, I laughed like a horse. A great satirical detail, bravo, Kristupas.
And that comedic accent, that he won’t let Tapinas operate the National Stadium. Also great. Absurdity is necessary in parody.
Really very good. We want more. Maybe then real politicians will come to their senses and realize how not to do things,” A.Tapinas wrote.
