“No one pities me, and I don’t pity them either. I also give everything I have,” Justin Buzzard told Fox & Friends First.
J. Buzzard, a Protestant church pastor who recently joined the San Jose City College Jaguars team, said that his much younger teammates welcomed him warmly, although he initially worried about how they would react to a 47-year-old newcomer on the team.
“I really wondered: ‘How will they react when a 47-year-old man shows up?’ Will they accept me? Will they try to pity me? Or, on the contrary, will they attack me? But they were amazing,” said J. Buzzard, who joined the college team.

J. Buzzard told NBC Bay Area that the idea of returning to the field came after his son showed him a video posted on social media about a 60-year-old man playing American football on the East Coast of the USA.
To his surprise, after contacting the San Jose City College coach, he got a chance to try out in defense – the same position he played many years ago.
