“A farmer can expect up to 4.5 thousand euros, according to our calculations. Mixed and medium-sized farms can expect the most. There are two criteria, we understand that those keeping animals, especially dairy cows, have been experiencing a crisis in the dairy sector for the last three years. This is for dairy cows and additionally for all other crops,” K. Mažeika told journalists on Thursday before the meeting of the newly established Ministry of Agriculture board.

“These are farms up to three hundred hectares, we are talking about the average Lithuanian farmer – and up to three hundred and one dairy cows,” he added.
