On a special day in life, the newlyweds radiated happiness and attracted the attention of those around them. Skaidrė Olberkaitė chose an elegant look for this occasion – she wore a light blue dress and held a delicate calla lily bouquet in her hands.
A day before the wedding, when the news portal Žmonės.lt contacted V. Tamulis, he admitted that he did not feel much pre-wedding excitement.
“There is no special excitement, everything is going naturally and calmly,” V. Tamulis told Žmonės.lt.
However, although inner calm accompanied him, there were plenty of preparation worries until the very last moment.
“We are still living in a bustle. We need to take the last things to the place where we will celebrate tomorrow, so there is no shortage of activity. But overall – the mood is great,” he said the day before the wedding.
The couple has been together for more than three years. Valentinas proposed to his chosen one, Skaidrė, this year on Valentine’s Day. According to the man, since they decided to take this step, there were no doubts about the wedding.
“Since I am Valentinas myself, and that time February 14th fell on a Saturday, I thought it was a great opportunity to take this step. Once the decision to commit was made, it naturally came time to think about the wedding date,” the politician told Žmonės.lt.

The newlyweds will celebrate their love surrounded by close people at the Akmenė manor estate.
However, the couple chose their wedding rings just a few days ago: “We did not engrave the rings. We chose simple ones. On Monday we went to Panevėžys and picked them out.”
After the wedding, Skaidrė chose a double surname and became Skaidrė Olberkaitė-Tamulienė.

After the festive weekend, the couple plans to spend their honeymoon not in exotic countries, but enjoying the nature of Lithuania.
“We don’t have big honeymoon plans. If the weather is good, we will go to Palanga. Maybe we will visit Trakai. We don’t have many holidays to travel far, but there are very beautiful places in Lithuania, so maybe we will dedicate some time to that,” he shared.
We remind you that this is not the first marriage for Tamulis and Olberkaitė.
From previous relationships, they already have adult children: the mayor has two daughters and is already enjoying five grandchildren, the council member has a daughter and a son.
