According to the president, Ukraine’s long-range strikes continue to limit Russia’s military and economic potential, so the aggressor increasingly directly feels the impact of the war.
Zelensky stated that in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, located about 1,000 kilometers from the front line. Due to the strike, the Russian war machine allegedly lost millions of dollars in export revenue.
There were also strikes on a logistics center in the Samara region and targets in the Black Sea.
The president emphasized that the results of previous strikes have now been confirmed. A Su-24M aircraft and four airfield facilities were destroyed at the Saki airfield.
In addition, drone control relay stations were destroyed in the Bryansk region. They are used by Russian forces to direct drones to Ukrainian cities and villages.
As already reported, on the night of August 22, Ukrainian defense forces struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery facilities in Russia’s Samara region.
