J. Zailskienė told the news portal alytusplius.lt that she was injured while going to an event in Veiveriai – she twisted her shoe heel and fell.
She said that at first she did not think the injury was very serious, so she wrapped her arm with an elastic bandage, but the pain increased, so she sought medical help.
On Friday evening, J. Zailskienė underwent surgery at Alytus Hospital – a dislocated bone was restored and fixed with a special metal plate.
