Geordie Greep was supposed to perform in Vilnius at the venue “Estradà” on August 12. This was announced just a week ago, at the end of May, and tickets sold out so quickly that an additional performance by the artist was announced for August 13.

However, already on June 5, the music agency “8 Days A Week” announced shocking news on Facebook – the planned concerts will not take place after all. The organizers did not hide that the situation was unpleasant – they had never encountered such a thing before.
„We have sad news. Geordie Greep’s performances at “Estrãda” will not take place and are cancelled. This is the choice of the artist and his team. We ourselves do not know if Geordie Greep will ever come to the capital.
All performance details were agreed upon and confirmed. Such a decision by Geordie to unilaterally cancel these performances is an unpleasant surprise for us, but anything can happen in the world of events.
We ourselves received this news unexpectedly from Geordie and his team. We assure you that we made every possible effort to save the performances.
We admired the work of the band “black midi” long before bringing them to the festival. Geordie Greep’s solo career is also excellent, even if communication regarding the past and the band sometimes raises an eyebrow.

Geordie himself announced on Instagram that he would still like to visit Vilnius. There was a lot of emotion in the communication with his team.
TICKET REFUND
We undertake to refund all money to those who purchased tickets. This will be handled by the agency’s official ticket distributor “Bilietai LT”. The money will be automatically refunded to the bank account from which the tickets were purchased by June 15.
