“Grinda” has already ordered a repeat water quality test for Gilužio beach. Once the results are received, the information will be updated.
At all other beaches in Vilnius, water quality meets hygiene requirements, so it is safe to swim there.
In Vilnius, “Grinda” manages 15 beaches. This year, the official swimming season at these beaches will end on September 15. Swimming will still be possible afterward, but lifeguards will no longer be on duty, and water and sand quality will no longer be tested during the colder season.
