For more than two decades, the tradition of barn theatre festivals has been nurtured in Nasrėnai, and this year it will again bring together theatre communities from various regions of Lithuania and Punsk.
The event will feature amateur theatre performances; Klaipėda Puppet Theatre educational activities for children; demonstrations of traditional crafts; music and cozy gatherings; on Saturday evening – a concert by the band “Kūjeliai.”
“So mark August 22–23 in your calendar, bring your family and friends, and come to Nasrėnai. Here you will find not only performances but also living tradition, a cozy homestead environment, and community,” invite the festival organizers.
The festival will take place at the Museum of Bishop Motiejus Valančius’ Homeland, Valančiaus St. 9, Nasrėnai village, Kretinga district. Events are free of charge.
