Lithuanians ended up in a very strong Group A, where they faced off against three elite teams. In the first match, Lithuanian beach volleyball players lost 1:2 (21:19, 10:21, 12:15) to Brazilians Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes after 46 minutes of battle.

In the second match, M. Paulikienė and A. Raupelytė had to acknowledge the superiority of the Olympic silver medalists, Canadians Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson, losing 0:2 (13:21, 16:21).
In the last match for third place in the group and the last ticket to the knockout stage, the Lithuanians faced Brazilians – Olympic champion Ana Patricia Ramos and her partner Carolina Horta.
The Lithuanian athletes celebrated victory in 31 minutes – 2:0 (21:7, 21:17). The Lithuanians dominated the first set, and in the second there was a close fight for a while until at the decisive moment our players won several points in a row and confidently finished the match.
In the first round of the knockout stage, M. Paulikienė and A. Raupelytė will play against the 2024 European champions, Germans Svenja Muller and Cinja Tillmann.

The total prize fund of the tournament in Montreal is 300 thousand US dollars.

At the “Beach Pro Tour Futures” series tournament held in Tallinn (Estonia), two Lithuanian pairs tested their strength. Skalvė Križanauskaitė and Ariana Rudkovskaja reached the knockout stage and took ninth place.
The duo of Rugilė Grudzinskaitė and Mėja Matiukaitė successfully passed the qualification and played together in the “Futures” main competition for the first time. In the group, the Lithuanians lost both matches and finished in 13th place overall.
The progress of both Lithuanian teams in the tournament was stopped by Israeli representatives Shiray Danenberg and Daniela Gonzalez.
