“Not Lithuania, but it seemed very interesting and I thought I should share it with you. Perhaps you have already seen those extraordinary photos of the burning logistics center today. The impressively looking black smoke plume is also visible from meteorological satellites. Its length reaches over 450 kilometers.

Drowned Moscow region in flames and darkness: attacked by 370 drones

“Kyiv Independent” reports that the Ukrainian military carried out a large-scale drone attack in the Moscow region on the night of July 18. According to Russian Telegram channels, infrastructure facilities east of the Russian capital were struck.

Photos and videos posted by local residents on social networks show thick black smoke rising from an oil depot in the city of Noginsk, located about 50 km east of the Kremlin.

Strike on logistics center

During the Ukrainian drone attack on a logistics center in western Russia, seven people were killed and 24 injured, the regional governor said on Saturday, as the Moscow region again became a target of Ukrainian drones.

“Seven night shift workers died when enemy drones hit the Wildberries logistics center,” said Tambov region governor Yevgeny Pervyshov.

“According to preliminary data, 24 people were injured” during the attack, which took place in the city of Kotovsk, added Y. Pervyshov.

Russian company Wildberries stated in a message that its logistics complexes in Kotovsk and Elektrostal, Moscow region, were attacked.

“The fire that broke out at the Tambov region facility was contained,” while firefighters are still working in Elektrostal, the company reported.
