At the beginning of the second set, the Danish team was leading, but the Lithuanian volleyball players quickly equalized the score and later had the initiative in their hands.
In the third set, the Danish team led 11:6, but then the Lithuanians began to dominate both in defense and offense and responded with their own “spurt” of 19:5.
For the Lithuanian team coached by Polish specialist Mateusz Zarczynski, captain Monika Šalkutė scored 13 points, Rūta Staniulytė and Martyna Paukštytė each scored 11, Anastasija Jesipenko 7, Barbora Rakauskaitė 4, and Karolina Pravdinskaitė, Karina Vilkicka, and Arina Petuchova each scored 1.

In other matches, the Albanian team defeated Luxembourg 3:1 (21:25, 25:17, 25:15, 25:14).
On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Lithuanian volleyball players will meet Luxembourg.
The two strongest teams of the tournament will advance to the main stage of the European League, which will take place in June.
