For the first time in LKL history, the attendance of all teams will exceed 1000 spectators
This has never happened before, but this season the conditions are more favorable than ever.
Both last year and the year before, only one team failed to reach an average of 1000 spectators – respectively “Jonava” (947) and “Mažeikiai” (601), who played home games not in their own city but in Telšiai.

It is precisely the Jonava team that could hinder the achievement of the thousand-spectator goal this season, but the average attendance in this central Lithuanian city could be boosted by visits from Jonas Valančiūnas and Kaunas “Žalgiris”, as well as other strengthened teams from the top half of the LKL table.
The average attendance of other LKL teams last season significantly exceeded 1000, and the LKL newcomer “Tauragė” should also not cause problems – the city arena holds 2 thousand people, and the excitement in the city that will have an LKL team for the first time has been felt for some time.

Robertas Javtokas will become LKL president
It is likely that the long-time LKL president Remigijus Milašius will leave this position if he takes over the leadership of the “Lithuanian Basketball” association. Perhaps the new league leader could be the legendary national basketball player who unsuccessfully ran for the head of “Lithuanian Basketball”?
R.Pakėnas: “Javtokas does not hide that the ALK president’s seat is already gone (R.Javtokas lost two association president elections – ed.), he will never go there again. He sees himself in official functionary positions, has status, is an LKL legend, with many championship rings. I think that would be very logical.”
