Officers of the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat (hereinafter – Kaunas County CPC) Kaunas City Santaka Police Commissariat are conducting a pre-trial investigation into a theft that occurred on June 5 at around 18:00 in Kaunas, Islandijos Ave., where goods were stolen from a store. The material damage amounts to about 395 euros. Surveillance cameras captured individuals who may have information relevant to the investigation.

For theft, under Article 178, Part 5 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, public works, a fine, restriction of liberty, or arrest may be imposed.

The investigation is organized and led by prosecutors of the 3rd Division of the Kaunas District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
