People are asked to help law enforcement more quickly and effectively solve crimes – by registering their available video surveillance cameras.
Officers also explain why it is worth doing this.
In the event of a crime or incident, the police will know in advance where to turn if video footage is needed for the investigation.
There is no need to fear possible collection or “leak” of personal life information.

“The police do not directly see what your camera records – they will only contact you if there is a specific need,” the police assure.
The right to privacy will not be violated.
Camera owners’ data is known only to the police and is kept secure.
“This will not be a direct connection to the video cameras – the police will only know that your video cameras might have captured information significant to the investigation,” the police confirmed.
