The Grizzlies and K.Caldwell-Pope’s agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, finalized the terms of the contract termination on Saturday, allowing the player to join the Philadelphia team, which is clearly assembling a roster to contend for a title.
K.Caldwell-Pope first became an NBA champion with L.James in 2020, when the Lakers triumphed under pandemic ‘bubble’ conditions, and in 2023, he earned his second championship ring as a member of the Nuggets.

33-year-old K.Caldwell-Pope underwent pinky finger surgery in February, causing him to miss the last 31 games of the season.
Before his injury, he averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 51 games for the Grizzlies, playing 21.3 minutes – his lowest playing time and scoring average since his debut season with the Pistons in 2013.
