“A violation of aviation security procedures was recorded, during which a passenger approached the airport perimeter fence and took an item from a person behind it,” said T. Urbonas.
According to him, in response to the situation and to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew, necessary security procedures were immediately initiated. In such cases, all passengers must be disembarked from the aircraft and returned for a repeated aviation security check, and the aircraft is also additionally inspected.
After completing all the prescribed procedures and ensuring that the flight could be safely conducted, the plane departed for London Stansted Airport at 10 a.m.

Aviation security requirements are applied without exceptions, so if there are any doubts about their compliance, all prescribed inspection procedures must be carried out, even if this delays the flight.
