Firefighters arriving at the scene soon heard a strange crackling coming from the burning building. At first, it was thought that the sound could have been caused by heat-induced cracking of the slate, but the gunshot-like sounds raised suspicions among the officers, so the work continued very cautiously.

After extinguishing the fire and the wooden house burned down, a metal box full of cartridges was found in the ashes. It is indicated that they were deactivated due to the heat.

No people were injured during the incident.
