“It is very important that we managed to bring them back. Thanks to everyone who works every day to bring our people back. We remember everyone who is still captive. We are searching for every name. And we will do everything to free them and bring them home,” the president emphasized.
On August 19, Ukraine for the first time in a long time again conducted a prisoner of war exchange with Russia. Then 103 Ukrainian defenders from the Armed Forces, State Border Service, and National Guard returned to the country.
