Brief profile
- Daily ritual. As soon as I wake up, still lying in bed, I draw back the curtain, greet the trees outside the window, do a few exercises as taught by physiotherapists so my back doesn’t become “stiff,” and get up. Then 20 more minutes of exercises, bath procedures, and I go feed the canaries, make espresso.
- Favorite dessert. A piece of fish. I don’t miss sweets at all. It’s interesting to taste them, but I only crave them occasionally, so I keep halva for such occasions.
- Travel destination. Europe. It never bores me. I still dream of going to South America. I want to go to Brazil, also to Buenos Aires and the Iguazu Falls!
- Book being read. Verena Kast’s “Losing and Finding Yourself.” This book was recommended by psychologist Jurgita Dapkevičienė, my podcast guest and the author of the audiobook “The Art of Endings.” I’m reading it to better understand my daughter…
- Favorite movie. “Mamma Mia” and “Burlesque.” These are movies my daughter and I keep watching over and over on our girls’ nights…
