The preliminary average annual inflation – the last 12 months compared to the corresponding time a year ago – reached 4.3 percent, according to the State Data Agency.
According to preliminary data, heat energy increased by 39.7 percent over the year, gasoline by 27.5 percent, diesel by 37.9 percent, car repairs by 12.7 percent, wood fuel by 32.1 percent, electricity by 12.2 percent, restaurant and cafe services by 6.6 percent, and holiday trips by 12.2 percent.

At the same time, medical diagnostic products became cheaper by 29.4 percent, services of recreation centers, campsites, youth hostels and similar accommodation by 24.1 percent, butter by 7.6 percent, vegetables by 9.1 percent, stone fruits and pome fruits by 26.9 percent, and used cars by 4.1 percent.
