I paid a 50% advance, but after a little more than a week, I realized that I was cheated because such furniture as I ordered costs significantly less on the market. I informed the company that I am terminating the contract and demanded a refund of the advance, but the company stated that they had already ordered materials and incurred expenses, so they refuse to return the advance. I reviewed the contract and did not find any provision that would give the company the right to keep the advance for any reason, except if the furniture was made. I believe I have the right to demand a refund of the entire advance paid because I terminated the contract before the work started, I am a private individual, and I did not miss the 14-day right to withdraw from the contract.
