Artificial intelligence system being developed in Lithuania to strengthen innovations

The ministry has prepared a draft law on the implementation of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act in Lithuania, which would help businesses and the public sector to prepare in advance to adapt to future EU requirements.

“The potential of artificial intelligence for the economy and the public sector is great, but its development must be based on clear rules. With this new law, we are creating a system that will ensure legal clarity and promote responsible innovation development,” said the Minister of Economy and Innovation Edvinas Grikšas in a statement.
