„Let’s get out of that provincial self-doubt complex, get out of our small European room and start caring about the whole European house, finally introduce European coordinates into our thinking and try ourselves to participate in defining those coordinates,“ emphasized A. Kubilius.
„We, our party, can be influential, first and foremost as a party,“ the European Commissioner told his comrades.
According to him, as NATO transforms, Europe should take the lead in conventional defense, and the US on the continent would only have a secondary role.
