According to the organizers, the biggest intrigue this year is the international group “Air Bandits”, formed by the legendary Lithuanian pilot Jurgis Kairys, reuniting for a joint performance after a long break.

Spectators will also enjoy parachute jumps, a demonstration rescue operation, and acrobatics on the wing of a flying plane.
On the ground, there will be concerts, exhibitions of Lithuanian army equipment and aircraft, educational activities, and entertainment for the whole family.
“Kaunas and aviation are inseparable. An important part of Lithuanian aviation history began here, and S. Darius and S. Girėnas airfield remains a place where our country’s flight tradition is alive. Every year we strive for the aviation festival to grow, surprise, and bring to Kaunas what you don’t see in the Lithuanian sky every day,” said Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijošaitis.
This year, festival visitors can look forward to a performance by the “Air Bandits” – J. Kairys, world aerobatic flying champion Ramon Alonso from Spain, and pilots Ioan Postolache and Dan Stefanescu from Romania – who have reunited after many years.
This international aerobatic flying group became famous for its unconventional, dynamic, and theatrical performances.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, masters of aerobatics from Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, Romania, Spain, Italy, and Greece will take turns in the airfield sky.

Spectators will see the legendary American fighter “P-51 Mustang”, the historic bomber “Douglas A-26C Invader”, and other exclusive aircraft.
A special place in the program will be taken by the performance of the historic aircraft “Bellanca CH-300 Pacemaker” and the ANBO aerobatic group. A flight of NATO air policing mission fighters operating in the Baltic States is also planned in the Kaunas sky.
According to the organizers, one of the most spectacular events this year will be the “Ragnarok” show by Swedish pilots Suso Jan Heden and Jacob Hollander. It will combine acrobatic flights and acrobatics on the wing of a flying plane.
Another exclusive performance will be presented by Red Bull athlete, powered paraglider pilot Dimitris Kolliakos from Greece.
During the festival, visitors will be able to get up close and personal with the activities and equipment used by the Air Force. The exhibition will feature helicopters, transport aircraft, airspace surveillance systems, rescue and repair equipment, drones, light weaponry, and armored SUVs.
Creative workshops, educational activities, and other entertainment await children and families.
