“The situation is such that now we not only have any electricity supply, but also other issues related to electricity supply. The number of people who are completely without connection is increasing, who, after going somewhere from their homes or homesteads, can only make a call and report that they have problems from a kilometer or two away,” said Kazlų Rūda mayor Mantas Varaška to BNS on Monday.

According to him, the municipality is also facing a drinking water crisis, and there are areas where roads are impassable and residents need to be delivered food.
