61-year-old Ljubiša Karović suffered neck and shoulder injuries when, on July 10th, during a flight from Thessaloniki (Greece) to Memmingen, near Munich (Germany), at about 6 kilometers altitude, a plane window broke and he was almost pulled out of the plane.
His wife Svetlana said she held her husband by the legs until other passengers rushed to help and pulled him back into the plane cabin.
The Serbian businessman, who will have to wear a neck brace for at least six weeks, says that after the incident no Ryanair representative contacted him.

L. Karović told the Daily Mail: “We only received emails addressed to my son, who booked our flight tickets. They asked if we wanted to change the tickets and inquired how I was feeling. But no one from the company contacted me directly – they didn’t even call to show minimal concern.”
While the incident is under investigation, the airline refused to comment – Ryanair only stated that the window was broken by a foreign object that entered the engine.
