A painful loss in Raisa Šarkienė's life: "I look at our photos and can't hold back the tears..."

The news about the deceased animal was, of course, shared by the woman in a sensitive post on social media.

“TODAY I LOST MY LARDIKAS…

Not long ago, on August 15th, he turned just 4 years old. And today I have to say goodbye to him… It’s hard to believe.

For four years, Lardikas was everywhere with me. We drove, traveled, walked, took photos, enjoyed life… Wherever I was – there he was.

He was not just my little dog. He was my family. My little friend. The one who was always by my side without asking, cuddled, kissed, and waited for me.

Today I look at our photos and can’t hold back tears… They hold so much of our life. So many beautiful moments. And it’s so hard to realize there will be no new ones.

Thank you, my Lardikas, for those four years.

For your love. For your loyalty. For every kiss and every day by my side.

Your little paws left a huge mark on my heart.

Rest in peace, my little one…

I will never forget you,” Raisa wrote sensitively.

R. Šarkienė always spoke very beautifully about her animal, whom she considered a loyal friend.

“I can’t live without a dog. You can also communicate with him. When such times come – a person will betray, but a dog never! We even sleep cuddled up. It’s very healthy. Maybe that’s why Šarkienė looks the way she does, because she has slept with dogs all her life. It is also a great medical help,” she said some time ago to Žmonės.lt.

The woman spared neither time nor finances for her four-legged friend.

“He has the biggest box of clothes. And more than one pair of shoes, socks. He looks very nice. Maybe not very comfortable, but you have to go out like that – people recognize, talk to me, sometimes ask to take a photo with him. Well, then let the photos be nice,” Raisa said.
