“To be honest, we had decided that the 20-team format would only last one more season, but we extended this decision for another year. However, the upcoming season will definitely be the last. Next year, the number of teams in the tournament will increase, so the format will change. Euroleague will introduce conferences. Under the new system, some teams will not meet twice. In any case, every change has its pros and cons,” said the “Olimpia” boss on the radio show of the Lithuanian Olympic Committee.
