15min received information about the ongoing searches from local residents who saw law enforcement vehicles near the company’s headquarters.
Finally, this was confirmed to 15min by STT representative Renata Keblienė, who stated that the searches are being conducted in a pre-trial investigation regarding abuse of office.

However, no charges have been filed against anyone so far.
15min was unable to contact the Mažeikiai district authorities – the mayor and the administration director – on Thursday.
