Russia-appointed governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev confirmed the attack and stated that the air defense allegedly shot down more than 20 drones.

M. Razvozhayev did not mention any casualties but hinted that drone debris damaged some buildings. Air raid sirens sounded in the city for almost five hours. The Kerch Bridge was closed due to the attack.

During the strike on uninhabited buildings in Simferopol, according to the Moscow-appointed head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, three people died and seven more were injured. However, he did not specify which targets the Ukrainian drones hit.

At the end of May, problems arose in Crimea regarding gasoline sales restrictions to consumers. AI-95 gasoline is sold mainly to public transport with coupons, while AI-92 is limited to no more than 20 liters per car. It is likely a consequence of ongoing Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.

Moreover, the Ukrainian armed forces are systematically conducting a logistical blockade to cut off the peninsula from supply routes. Major transport hubs are being destroyed, and constant pressure is being applied to the Kerch Bridge. Explosions at Russian military bases, warehouses, and Black Sea Fleet headquarters occur almost daily, indicating that Russian military formations have completely lost any security in the rear.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the payment system in Crimea unexpectedly malfunctioned – local residents complain that it is impossible to pay with cashless methods.
