As 15min reported, on Wednesday afternoon a fallen drone was found in the Pasvalys district. It was spotted by foresters in a forested area who were scouting plots where wood needs to be cleared after summer storms.

It was thought that this could be one of the drones that flew into Lithuanian territory in May and disappeared from radars.

However, in the evening the Lithuanian police informed that it was a smuggler’s drone.

The village of Keneliai is remote, on the border of Pasvalys and Panevėžys districts.

Andrius Kviliūnas, who owns an orchard here, told 15min that the village has only a few houses and even fewer residents.
