“Jeruzalės Pond Park is one of those places in Vilnius where nature is very close to everyday life. In renewing this space, we aimed to preserve its naturalness while creating comfortable conditions for Vilnius residents to spend time here – to walk, be by the water, exercise, or come with children,” says Vilnius city mayor Valdas Benkunskas.

There, children and parents can examine forest objects, lichens, plants, wood under a microscope and discover unexpected nature facts.
The evening mood will be set by an acoustic concert on the water by Justė and Laurynas from “Saulės Kliošo.” During the event, there will also be a wheel of fortune where “Rimi” will offer treats.

An opportunity to discover Jeruzalės Park
Jeruzalės Pond Park covers part of the Visoriai–Bajorai forests, and one of its main features is the Jeruzalės pond, whose shores are overgrown with trees and bushes. In managing the area, the aim was to maintain the park’s natural character as much as possible while adapting the space for residents’ relaxation.
The renovated park features 3.5 km of walking paths with lighting, a terrace on the water, children’s playgrounds and sports areas, and an educational trail. The pond has a fountain that not only livens up the environment but also helps maintain water quality.

The idea and implementation of the renewed space were contributed to by the “Vilnius Development Company.”
Vilnius residents are invited to come, walk, be by the water, discover nature close to home, and enjoy another green space in Vilnius together.
