Oksana does not hide that the very fact of leaving the job does not anger her – after all, it is completely normal to look for better conditions or pursue a career. What shocked her the most was the way it was done – secretly, without any farewell or a simple “thank you”.
The businesswoman felt simply exploited. “Once again I realized that because of my kind heart, my goodwill to help a young person – I got such a blow back… When you just realize that you give a young person everything – education at the salon’s expense, practice at the salon’s expense…” – the woman confessed. She did not hide that by allowing the newcomer to work for free for a long time, the salon suffered losses for a while. However, when the employees had formed a circle of clients and were given a specialty, she, according to Oksana, “the person who gathered all this – ran away…”, choosing a place where it was simply cheaper to rent a work chair.
Having learned from this dishonesty, O. Pikul advised other employers to be more attentive and definitely sign all necessary contracts that would oblige employees not only to perform their duties but also to behave properly. By the way, it soon became clear that this colleague was not liked in the salon, so her secret departure was a real relief for the remaining team.
Still, although the financial and professional exploitation left bitterness, the most painful blow for Oksana was the behavior of the former subordinate related to her family.

The woman recalled a company party held in a restaurant in January, which she organized for her birthday. Wanting to surprise her daughter and cheer up the whole team, Oksana’s mother ordered a huge dancing bear. While everyone was enjoying, dancing, and having fun, the mentioned employee showed open dissatisfaction.
“It was this employee who stood up, ran out of the hall, and told one person from the team that she was disgusted, that she would not be in the same hall, and that this step by my mother was disgusting and she was ashamed,” O. Pikul recounted, emphasizing that she reacts very sensitively to matters concerning her family. It was this disrespect for her mother’s sincere efforts to surprise the team that left the most painful impression.
