A tennis court behind a high fence on one of the plots in the 3rd street of Pragiedruliai Gardens has become a cause of discord among neighbors. The neighbors (there are more than one dissatisfied) raise questions not so much about the sports field, but about whether the fenced piece of state land might become private by using, as they see it, inappropriate methods.

Another important aspect in the story of discord is that the neighbors say they suspect that the owner of the tennis court, who is also the chairwoman of their gardeners’ association board, tried to take advantage of the association itself.
It is said that the association members were offered to pay for cadastral measurements with joint funds, although some residents, as they say themselves, questioned whether such measurements were really necessary for the entire association or would only help solve the problem of a specific plot.

The chairwoman herself, Sigita Sutkevičiūtė, says that when she bought the plot, it was already fenced in that place, which some of her neighbors are upset about. However, she insists that the plot is not larger because of this, only the fence was allegedly built in the wrong place because precise measurements were not made.
