The theme of the festive evening was vintage style, reminiscent of parties from previous decades. Music, interior details, food, drinks, and other evening highlights created a recognizable atmosphere of that era.

The festive mood was also enhanced by the guests’ attire – jeans inspired by family albums and parents’ wardrobes, brighter shirts, sweaters, classic suits, and various vintage accessories created a nostalgic evening aesthetic.

Theater lovers and a group of invited guests gathered for the celebration. Among them were actors of the “Kitas kampas” theater Audrius Bružas, Martynas Nedzinskas, Kirilas Glušajevas, Inga Šepetkaitė, Mantas Bendžius, pianist, SHWR band member Dominykas Kazimieras Krulikovskis, theater director Brigita Linkevičiūtė, actors Valentinas Krulikovskis, Marius Pocevičius, Gintarė Latvėnaitė, painter Santa Jukna, theater friends including dentist doctor, founder of “Carra” clinic and online store “Švarūs dantys negenda” Valentina Kvaraciejienė, Professor Dr. Arūnas Emeljanovas, TV show producer Laura Žalimienė, wedding planner Agata Tomaševskaja, and many other guests.

Music was taken care of by legendary DJ Tomas Boo, and participants were treated to a vintage photo studio, theater video and photo archives from the theater’s founding in 2009 to the present day. The space was filled with conversations, dancing, memories, and of course, theater – exactly the combination that over five years has become an inseparable part of the “Kitas kampas” bar.
The celebration was opened by a speech from the theater’s founder and leader A. Bružas, in which the actor emphasized the importance of longtime partners K. Glušajevas and M. Nedzinskas, who have been part of the theater team since its inception.
“In 18 years we have really experienced a lot, a big thing is to be an ensemble for 18 years and maintain respect for each other, and most importantly – trust. Above all, I wish everyone humanity, because in it there is also trust,” said A. Bružas.

The greeting speech was continued by “Kitas kampas” artistic director K. Glušajevas: “Improvisation theater is a special kind of theater. It’s great that today we are celebrating here, because, as in improvisation, there are never good conditions, there is never the right time – there is simply the time that is now.
These premises, the theater bar, were opened during quarantine, seemingly at the worst possible time. We didn’t even have an opening celebration, but here the bar has been running for five years.
Speaking of numbers, I want to recall one of my favorite aphorisms: true art is not about adding days and hours to already existing eternity, but about adding eternity to days and hours. Theater does exactly that. So let us be both temporary and at the same time eternal – this is only possible in theater. Long live KITAS KAMPAS!”
“Kitas kampas” welcomed the start of its 18th season exactly like this – with people, music, theater, nostalgia, and a celebration that reminded that sometimes all a good evening needs is the right company, good music, and an occasion to meet. Soon, the masters of improvisation will begin the 18th theater season with the legendary improvisation show A DOSE OF GOOD LAUGHTER in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Šiauliai.
