And the performer’s joke hits a very unfunny problem.
Data from the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) shows that in Lithuania, the burden of housework is still very uneven: 60% of women and only 33% of men do housework daily. An even more pronounced difference appears in families with young children – more than five hours a day of childcare for children aged 0–11 is provided by 37% of women and 25% of men.

The latest 2024 EIGE CARE study conducted across the European Union, whose results were published in 2026, confirms the problem: women in Lithuania more often intensively care for children and other relatives, more often do housework, receive less external help, while men have more leisure time and less often face difficulties balancing work, family, and household chores.
Jarmolenka says he thought for a long time about how to solve this social problem. No psychology studies were needed. The recipe – music, girlfriends, and one evening without a husband.
“In the family, the woman very often does the majority of the work. Work, kitchen, children, cleaning, laundry, still need to remember what to buy, where to take whom, and when someone returns. And then the husband in the evening can still ask: ‘Darling, why are you so tired?’ I think, just for such a question, the husband should be issued a vacuum cleaner for a week,” laughs Igoris Jarmolenka.
“Men, don’t be afraid – we will return your wives”
Thus was born the somewhat unexpected idea of the performer – to organize a special women’s tour where the most romantic love songs will meet a powerful men’s show created especially for women. On its stage – not just dancers, but professional acrobats, gymnasts, and striptease champions, whose performances combine physical strength, flexibility, complex tricks, choreography, and strong masculine energy.
Jarmolenka does not hide – this time the best role for men is very important: to buy a ticket and stay at home.
“Men, don’t be afraid – we will return your wives. Only, I hope, in a much better mood than when you let them go out. And if the husband washes the dishes that evening, tidies up the house, and puts the children to bed – it may be that the returning wife will even fall in love with him again,” smiles the performer.
According to him, sometimes women don’t need another bouquet of flowers or household appliances for Christmas, but a simple thing – a few hours when they don’t have to worry about anything.
“We talk a lot about how a woman has to be a good mother, a good wife, a good employee, beautiful, cheerful, and preferably not tired. But a person is not a phone that you plug in at night and in the morning shows 100 percent again. Sometimes you just need to go out with girlfriends and have a good time.”

The performer jokes that he has found his “family therapy” method.

Jarmolenka immediately warns that he does not intend to compete with family psychologists.
“I am not a psychologist. My therapy is much simpler: beautiful love songs, laughter, good emotions, and professional men whose performance should raise the temperature in the hall by a few degrees. If a woman returns home happy after such an evening and gives her husband a kiss instead of a reproach – it means the treatment worked,” laughs the performer.
Statistics show: the problem is not just in Jarmolenka’s imagination
EIGE data gives his humor a more serious background. The 2026 Lithuanian review published by the institute states that housework remains unevenly distributed, women more often intensively care for children and other family members, and men have more leisure time.
This is important because we are not only talking about floor washing or dinner. The EIGE CARE study assesses how unpaid care and household work affect people’s ability to balance professional and personal life and their well-being. The 2024 study involved more than 65,000 people aged 16–74 in all 27 EU countries.
“Therefore, my suggestion to men is very simple. If your wife says: ‘We’re going to Jarmolenka’s concert with the girls,’ don’t ask: ‘When will you be back?’ You should say: ‘Darling, have a great time. I will take care of the house.’ That’s when real romance begins,” says Jarmolenka.
When they take the stage – romance will get hot
The performer himself promises that this will not be a traditional concert where the audience sits quietly in their seats for two hours. One half of the evening will belong to romance and the most beautiful love songs, and the other – to adrenaline, temperament, and masculine energy.
Professional acrobats, gymnasts, and striptease champions will appear in the men’s show created especially for this tour. These are stage professionals for whom the body is a work instrument: complex acrobatic elements, gymnastic strength, flexibility, athleticism, choreography, and the ability to control the audience’s emotions should become one of the biggest intrigues of the evening. The dancers will not just be a background for the performer – their numbers will become an independent, impressive part of the program.
“I’ll just say this: our dancers are not guys we taught a couple of moves. They are professional acrobats, gymnasts, including striptease champions. They know perfectly well how to control their bodies and how to control the hall’s emotions. I will sing about love, and they will practically show why so many songs have been written about it,” laughs Igoris Jarmolenka.
Elegant romance on stage will collide with strong masculine energy. One moment a sensitive love song will sound, the next – a performance by athletic men, acrobatics, strength, and flirting with the audience. The organizers promise an aesthetic, professional, but at the same time bold show where women will be allowed to forget everyday life for at least a few hours.
“You can shout. You can applaud without holding back. You can flirt with the stage too. We will start with romance, then add adrenaline, and when our men’s team takes the stage, the temperature in the hall should rise by a few degrees. And what happened at the women’s evening stays at the women’s evening,” smiles Jarmolenka.
Five evenings when men will have to stay at home
The special Igoris Jarmolenka tour will take place in five Lithuanian cities:
