Until now, every year the festival also featured a separate “Art Stage” dedicated to the art program. This year, this format is being discontinued – performances are moving to the main festival stages.

This year we wanted to fundamentally change how art is presented at “Loftas Fest.” We are moving art throughout the entire festival area – performances and artistic interventions will appear on music stages between performers’ sets, so visitors can encounter art unexpectedly, regardless of which stage they come to.

We want to show the widest possible spectrum of contemporary art – this year’s program will feature performance, dance, drag culture, fashion, theater, digital art, and interactive installations,” says the festival’s art curator Deividas Valenta.

Also coming to the festival from Berlin is Reverso, who transforms club walls into a space for physical performance with his dark, ritual character, as well as choreographer and comedian Harpy, who combines dance, comedy, and vivid visual theater in her performances. At night, you will also meet Vilnius cabaret star Luka Mokka with bold, theatrical performances on the stages.

On Saturday, the “Tuborg Zero” stage will present a new collection by designer Karina Panina in the form of a performance titled “What would I be if I were not a designer?” This is a work continuing the story of last year’s performance “I have no inspiration anymore.”

On the festival grounds, you can also find an interactive video installation “Synthetic Gesture” by Ričardas Žigis and Gintarė Martinionytė, exploring the boundaries between the human body and digital matter.
