As E. Hildenas emphasized, for such a small market as the Baltic countries, unity is necessary to strengthen their positions and increase influence in international aviation. He noted that Riga is the airline’s base and operational center, but “airBaltic” is also actively operating in Lithuania and Estonia and wants to hold strong positions in these markets, while maintaining a well-functioning and sufficiently large aviation hub.
