As stated in the investigation documents obtained by PEOPLE magazine from the Westminster coroner’s court, on March 5 in Bangkok, Thailand, Ubiribo received hyaluronic acid injections into the penis – a non-surgical cosmetic procedure. After it, he began to complain of chest pains and soon collapsed.

The internet celebrity was urgently taken to a local hospital, where a CT scan was planned, but according to the investigation documents, he lost consciousness before doctors could perform the examination.

Ubiribo’s resuscitation lasted 101 minutes, and at 1:05 a.m. on March 6, he was declared dead.

At the August 21 hearing investigating the circumstances of Ubiribo’s death, the court heard conclusions that the autopsy and toxicology tests determined the cause of death – hyaluronic acid injection and pulmonary embolism (Mayo Clinic describes pulmonary embolism as “a blood clot that blocks and stops blood flow to the lung artery”).

It seems that Ubiribo posted his last Instagram post on November 11. It featured photos with Nigerian and US music artist Davido.

“Almost two decades in this field! I am extremely proud of my little brother, all this can only be thanks to GOD. From ‘Boys’ to ‘Men’,” he wrote in the post.

After his death in March, several of his friends paid tribute to the deceased on social media.

“Rest in peace, brother,” wrote content creator CelebrityBarMan on Instagram on May 29, sharing videos from Ubiribo’s funeral. “Even after death, your lifestyle was maintained. Today London froze for you, Tiny. We love you, celebrate your life, and will never forget you, brother. Good memories last forever. Rest in peace, great Tiny. Please watch over us from where you are.”

“Your loss broke something in me that seems it will never heal,” wrote Loveday Boma C. Ugwuanya, known on Instagram as “cashkingbb,” on March 7.

“You were my brother – not by blood, but by everything that truly matters. Rest in peace, man. I will continue to loudly mention your name so the world does not forget you.”
