This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Investigations and personnel decisions
The head of state said that he has already spoken with Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko about the situation related to the SBU and GUR.
Two suspicions have already been declared in this case, and law enforcement agencies are checking all the circumstances of the events from the very beginning.
According to V. Zelensky, after the official investigation, the actions of the heads of both institutions will be properly assessed.
“Personnel decisions have already been made regarding both structures. Deputy heads who should be responsible for this situation will be dismissed. It is completely right that both structures must be held accountable,” emphasized V. Zelensky.
The president also stated that both institutions acted unlawfully. He stressed that it is necessary to establish the truth in order to avoid similar situations in the future.
