In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Kai shared moments from her first week as a freshman – showing part of her lectures, new daily routine, and life at university. But before all that, she had to go through an emotional farewell with friends and family.
The video shows Kai’s last moments at home in Florida before moving to Miami, where she will live for four years during her studies.
“I am very sad that today I have to say goodbye to everyone,” she said, tears welling up in her eyes.
“I’m generally not a very emotional person, so it’s very strange for me to cry – I’ve only cried a few times. I think the realization that tonight I have to say goodbye to everyone is really very hard.
I won’t have to say goodbye to my mom tomorrow, but everything else is sad. It’s hard for me now, just thinking about it.”
Kai did not hide that although the new stage of life excites and delights her, such a big change also brings a lot of emotions. The video then shows Kai spending the last evening with friends before everyone leaves for college.

Later, Kai moved to a new apartment in Miami and showed how she prepared for her first day of studies. She faced an early wake-up and a meeting with the golf team at 7 a.m.
Kai spoke about her mother’s battle with cancer
Last year was full of changes for Kai. Earlier this year, her mother Vanessa Trump revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In the following months, she underwent treatment and surgery. It seems that her condition has greatly improved at this time.
Last month, Kai openly talked about her mother’s illness journey.
“She went through treatment, had surgery, but now she feels better,” Kai told NewsNation. “The road wasn’t easy, but now she feels better and hopefully her condition will continue to improve.”
She also said that her mother’s story made her reevaluate her priorities.
“I wanted to help families who are also going through a similar experience with their loved ones,” she said. “So I plan to donate to various breast cancer fight foundations and help families because I know what it means to go through all of this.”
