Calls to bring pants as a symbol
Vitalis Zigmantas, working on a ride-hailing service platform, invites to the mentioned protest action near the Seimas on September 10 at 10 a.m. on the social network “Facebook”.

In his call, drivers are also invited to bring unnecessary pants to the “Bolt” headquarters as a symbol that due to low earnings, the “last pants” are being given away.
He also suggests attaching a second pair of pants to the car and working in shorts to draw attention and show protest in a more creative form.
“Why September 10? On this day, our dear Seimas returns from vacation! <…> let’s look at everything creatively and strike with the weapons of laughter and symbolism! I hope then everyone will hear,” he wrote.

15min interviewed V. Zigmantas admitted that the last pants are being tried to be taken off from ride-hailing drivers and named the main problems currently faced. The problem is said not to be just low earnings.
“Working conditions are already such that they are trying to take off the last pants from us. This time we will protest not only because the prices are unfair,” the interlocutor said.
