First of all, T. Sabonis shared his impressions upon returning to Lithuania and revealed the dishes he missed the most, then spoke about J. Valančiūnas’s debut and potential in Europe.
„A cosmic signing, such a high-level player. Of course, a good friend of mine, so I am very happy for him. Speaking about the game, Jonas will be a huge monster in the EuroLeague and the Lithuanian Basketball League. In his debut game, he also scored 20 points in a short time, so I wish him to play as many such games as possible so that Žalgiris can achieve as many victories as possible,“ wished T. Sabonis.
The strategist also discussed J. Valančiūnas’s defensive nuances and talked about the gathering of the 1992 generation players in Žalgiris.
