There will definitely be something to fight for – the winner of the thirteenth season will receive the biggest grand prize in the entire history of “The Voice of Lithuania.” The best voice of the season will be awarded a brand new “XPENG G6” car worth more than 50 thousand euros. The participants, who knew nothing about such a large prize, will see it for the first time during the first episode – so the surprise will be real not only for the viewers but also for them.

However, the impressive prize is not the only change that participants will feel this season. For the first time in the project’s history, they are no longer just unknown voices meeting on stage. For a month, the filming studio becomes their shared home. Even before the Blind Auditions, participants had the opportunity to hear and see those with whom they would soon have to share the same stage. They watched each other’s rehearsals, heard the strongest voices, and saw with their own eyes what kind of competition awaits this season.
The center of all these emotions will be the renovated project space – the Family Room. Participants will spend most of the filming days there: waiting for their performances, socializing, making music, watching how others are doing, and guessing with the project hosts Eglė Jurgaitytė and Rolandas Mackevičius who will manage to turn the coaches’ chairs.
However, according to E. Jurgaitytė, the most interesting thing will be to watch how very quickly the competition gives way to a completely different feeling. “It will be fun to see how participants enter the Family Room with scared eyes, and after a few hours, they will be relaxed, settled in as if at home, and enjoying all the action happening around. It has become a safe place where everyone supported each other, rejoiced together, and grieved together. There were so many emotions in one filming day that sometimes just a few hours were enough to form a very strong bond,” says the host of “The Voice of Lithuania.”
The Family Room will change not only the waiting experience of the participants themselves but also that of their relatives. In previous seasons, family members or friends watched the performance in a much smaller space, where, as R. Mackevičius recalls, there was sometimes more tension than conversation.

“Before, the participant’s family or friends would come to me before the performance, and everyone just waited. Quietly, worried, tense. It felt like – oh God, something is about to happen to our person on that stage,” laughs R. Mackevičius. “But now you come to the Family Room, and it’s full of people, full of treats, someone is drinking coffee, someone is talking, discussing how things went for each. The excitement, of course, hasn’t disappeared, but the waiting itself has become completely different.”
According to the host, the changed atmosphere also had another effect very important for television – people simply forgot about the cameras around them. “Before, there was sometimes that awkward moment: people stand, get nervous, and you think about how to get them to talk now. Here, that almost disappeared. Everyone got comfortable, started telling stories, joking, communicating with each other. We ourselves felt at home there. The excitement remained, but it became much gentler. I really like this change,” says the project host.
In the new season, the Family Room will also allow viewers to see much more than just the few minutes a participant spends on the big stage. Here, their reactions to competitors, first crushes, doubts, friendships, and emotions that the four turned coaches’ chairs do not yet see will be revealed.
The thirteenth season of “The Voice of Lithuania” with the iconic Blind Auditions will start on September 12 and will be broadcast on Saturdays at 7:30 PM on LNK.
