“Lithuanian support contributes not only to responding to emergency situations but also to creating a safer energy future for Ukraine. Therefore, I am glad that the project continues and an additional 4 million euros are allocated from the already planned support this year. Another good news is that this project has managed to attract European fund resources – another 3 million euros,” said Ž. Vaičiūnas in a statement.

During the first phase of the program, Lithuania allocated 5 million euros last year. It is planned that about 80 projects will be implemented over both phases.
