Having found the bottle, Vidas decided to contact the author of the letter, hoping that his email would reach her.

In the letter, he wrote: “Hello, Stella! Greetings to you and your mother Martina! My name is Vidas Bareikis, I am a 40-year-old performer from Lithuania. I am currently on vacation at our seaside cottage, near the Lithuanian and Latvian border.

This morning, as usual, I went for a run and found your letter. It’s hard to even describe how surprised and happy I was to realize that your message traveled more than 500 kilometers across the sea to reach me!

To be honest, I’m here at a creative camp – looking for ideas for new songs. And I feel that this morning’s adventure will become a great inspiration for a new piece. Thank you very much for that! I hope you are both doing great, and you, Stella, are already getting ready for school – after all, September is just around the corner.

I send my warmest wishes and hope that perhaps one day we will meet in person. I release this letter back into the “internet sea” with the hope that it will somehow reach you.
Your “message in a bottle” friend from the other side of the sea.”

Soon, a reply from Sweden also arrived. Stella sent a reply and announced unexpected news – Swedish television became interested in this story.

It read: “Hello, Vidas!

Thank you very much for replying to our letter! Stella is very happy about it! We are also very happy that YOU found the bottle, took the time to write to us, and even created a song about Stella. Wow, amazing!!! We love the song, and Stella has already told all her friends about it.

Half an hour ago, Swedish television interviewed us, and they will also contact you. Stella is a very modest and shy girl, so she doesn’t talk to other people, but I want you to know – she is incredibly happy about all of this. Thank you! The bottle was sent from Yngsjö, not Skåre, in the Skåne region. Yngsjö is more in the eastern part of Skåne. We are now back home, and Stella started school last week. I have no doubt that she will tell her classmates about this incredible experience.

Best regards – your friends from Sweden, from the same “message in a bottle” story, Martina and Stella.”

This answer simply stunned V. Bareikis. Without hiding his immense joy, he immediately shared his emotions with his followers.

“GUYS!!!!! You won’t believe it… We just got back from the sea, where I filmed another excerpt of the song “STELLA”, thinking: “Tomorrow I’ll share it, and whatever happens, happens…” I open my email, and there…

Read it yourselves, and I believe you’ll feel the same great emotion as I do! And the best part is that the story doesn’t end there – tomorrow I’ll be interviewed by Swedish television, who are creating a report about this incredible event.

Now I’m even more looking forward to the moment when I can return to Vilnius, record this song in the studio, and show it to both you and Stella! Wow!” – V. Bareikis rejoiced.

We remind you that the famous man unexpectedly found a message in a bottle brought by the Baltic waves, which a ten-year-old girl from Sweden threw into the water a few weeks ago.

Having traveled about 500 kilometers, the letter ended up directly in V. Bareikis’ hands and became an unexpected impulse for his new music.

“I found a message in a bottle from Sweden!

What are the chances that on August 1st, ten-year-old Stella, while vacationing with her parents in western Sweden, would write a letter, put it in a bottle, throw it into the sea, and 23 days later it would arrive directly into my hands near the Lithuanian-Latvian border…

Wow! Like in a movie.

The day before yesterday I arrived at the homestead with a mission to create new music, catch some inspiration, and here’s such a story.

I think it best reflects how beautiful and unexpected life is, like a jazz improvisation.

By the way, yesterday I was at a great concert by Kęstutis Vaginis “In the Water”. He played with incredible musicians from all over the world who are currently “stuck” in Warsaw for some reason. They have a great community of musicians there and drive to play a concert for thirty jazz lovers from Lithuania. Crazy!

Complete life jazz, both the concert and the bottle that travels 500 km and ends up in your hands.

Nothing happens for nothing. I’m going to write an email to Stella and let her know that her “message in a bottle” friend from the other side of the sea has already received it. And then I’ll go “jazz it up” at the instrument – we’ll see what comes out this time,” V. Bareikis said on “Instagram”.
