This news appeared less than a week after the couple surprised fans and critics with plans to return to the UK. The return was reported by media outlets such as the BBC and the Daily Telegraph, the latter stating that their plane landed at Birmingham International Airport around noon.
Flight tracking websites showed that a private charter flight from Van Nuys, California, airport landed at 11:56 a.m. local time (1:56 p.m. Lithuanian time).
The couple’s children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, are already registered in UK schools and will start classes in September.
The family plans to live in a private residence independent of the royal family outside London, but the exact location was not disclosed.
